Role Overview
As a key member of our Materials & Procurement division, you will drive the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle for Electrical, IT, and CAPEX categories. This role is designed for a procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a sharp eye for cost optimization, vendor relationship management, and seamless import operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Procurement & Negotiation: Lead the sourcing and procurement of IT and Electrical assets. You won't just buy; you will re-negotiate commercial terms, lead times, and payment cycles to drive significant cost savings.
- Import & Compliance Excellence: Manage the complexities of import purchases, including cargo clearance and close coordination with CHAs. You will ensure 100% adherence to GST, duty requirements, and statutory legal regulations.
- Inventory & Risk Management: Monitor consumption patterns and non-moving stock to maintain optimum inventory levels. You will implement supplier risk management practices to ensure a resilient supply chain.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee supplier performance through regular audits of ISO standards and quality compliance, ensuring our partners meet the high standards of the organization.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize SAP and MS Excel to manage GRN status, review pending requisitions, and prepare high-level MIS reports for divisional leadership.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for vendor dispute redressal, ensuring professional and ethical conflict management.
Technical & Behavioral Profile
- Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of electrical materials, components, and heavy equipment.
- Systems Fluency: Advanced proficiency in SAP and MS Excel is essential.
- Communication & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders and external vendor partnerships.
- Operational Agility: Comfortable working in a 3-shift, 6-day work week environment to support continuous divisional operations.
