Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Specialist based in the Pune Division. The Purchase Specialist will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, creating and processing purchase orders, negotiating and managing supplier relationships, and tracking inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability. The role also involves monitoring expenditure, evaluating vendors, and optimizing purchasing strategies to support business goals.
Mandatory Skills for JD:
1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for project materials.
2. Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers.
3. Maintain a reliable and up-to-date database of suppliers.
4. Coordinate with project managers and engineers to meet material requirements.
5. Ensure on-time delivery of materials and equipment.
6. Monitor inventory levels and forecast future material needs.
7. Conduct cost analysis and seek opportunities for cost reduction.
8. Ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulations.
9. Resolve any issues related to deliveries and supplier performance.
10. Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers
Years of Experience:
2-4 Yrs experience in Fabrication or sheet metal company.
