We are looking for a highly analytical and strategicPurchase Managerto optimize our procurement operations, manage critical inventory, and ensure seamless production cycles.
The Role
We don't just need an order-processor; we need a supply chain strategist. The ideal candidate will take ownership of sourcing raw materials, active ingredients, and packaging, while tightly managing inventory levels using SAP. You will be the bridge between our vendors, the manufacturing floor, and the finance team, ensuring we get the best quality at the right price, exactly when we need it.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Sourcing & Procurement:Manage the end-to-end purchasing cycle for packing material and packaging components (tubes, airless pumps, cartons).
- Inventory Master:Track and control inventory levels to maintain optimal stock, preventing both costly stock-outs and excess dead stock.
- SAP Operations:Act as the internal lead for SAP material management. You will be responsible for creating POs, tracking GRNs, maintaining vendor master data, and generating accurate inventory reports.
- Vendor Negotiation & Management:Identify alternative sourcing options to mitigate supply chain disruptions. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to protect company margins against market volatility.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with the R&D, Production, and Quality Control teams to ensure all incoming materials meet Fixderma's stringent clinical standards.
- Market Intelligence:Keep a pulse on global chemical pricing, currency fluctuations, and freight trends to proactively advise management on purchasing strategies.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:5+ years of dedicated experience in procurement and inventory management, preferably within the Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, or FMCG manufacturing sectors.
- Tech-Savvy (Mandatory):Strong, hands-on proficiency inSAP(Business 1) and advanced MS Excel.
- Industry Knowledge:A solid understanding of cosmetic raw materials, packaging sourcing, and the nuances of batch consistency.
- Analytical Mindset:Ability to forecast demand, analyze inventory turnover ratios, and make data-driven purchasing decisions.
