Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end indirect procurement process, including sourcing, RFX processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), negotiations, and contract management for indirect spend categories (e.g., office supplies, IT services, marketing, facilities management, etc.).
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and supplier analysis to identify potential vendors, assess their capabilities, and ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Develop and execute RFX strategies, ensuring that requests meet business objectives and are in line with company procurement policies and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, legal, operations, IT, Projects) to understand their indirect procurement needs and deliver solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high levels of performance, quality, and service.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring terms and conditions support organizational objectives, minimize risk, and maximize value.
  • Monitor and track supplier performance, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, savings, supplier performance, and market trends to senior management.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the procurement function.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in indirect procurement management, with a strong focus on the RFX process (RFI, RFP, RFQ).
  • Deep understanding of procurement principles, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing complex procurement contracts.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • 6-8 years of experience in managing indirect procurement categories (IT, Facility buildout project, Facility Management, marketing, HR services, etc.).
  • Pharma Product Purchase & Medical Equipment purchase experience prefered
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and regulations.
