Job Description

Position Title: Business controller

Function: Purchase

Educational Qualification

Minimum : Graduate with relevant experience.

Preference: ICWA

Experience

2-5 years experience in handling commercial role for agri commodities

Key Responsibilities

Handle end to end Operations of commodities (Wheat and Maida) as detailed below:-

Custom Milling and Buy Sale Controls: Smooth Custom Milling operations for 5 Lakh MT of

wheat/ year. Controlling Delivery Orders for Wheat Custom Milling Payments recovery, Timely

Reconciliations.

Debit Notes: Payment processing of monthly Debit Notes of vendors of around Rs 2-3 Crores per

Month.

Physical verifications of stock : Monthly Physical Verifications and tally with SAP stock, Proper

Stock keeping by timely fumigations, Quality maintenance etc

Contract compliances-Warehouse contracts, Buy and sale contracts, Wheat sale contracts,

Credit and debit note for services or delay in payments.

MIS-Managing Flour and Wheat MIS as per buyers requirement.

Payments-Ensure timely payments to suppliers as per agreed payment terms.

NDCs-Getting clean NDCs are per company requirement

IT projects-Work with buyers and develop auto reports to smooth the operations and improve

the controls

Sales order/delivery orders-Ensure SO/DO as per payment with required controls.

Pending orders-Review pending orders of Wheat and Maida and intimate to buyers for required

actions

Mandi and statutory compliances-Timely Mandi filing and keeping all the statutory compliance

as per local law

Desired Competencies

Proficiency in handling ERP package (SAP).

Excellent excel skills

Team Handling: Exposure to lead field team at diverse locations.

Strong analytical and pattern identification skills.

Proactive & demonstrates initiative in working independently with minimal direction; ability to

prioritize competing demands and make decisions consistent with corporate goals and

objectives.

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally.
