Description
We are seeking a skilled Purchase Manager to oversee our procurement and supply chain for electronics components for our EMS plant based in Derabassi in Chandigarh . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in purchasing and supply chain management, with the ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively and knowledge about supply chain in domestic and international market for PCBA, Electronics Components buying experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize inventory levels and costs.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and logistics, to align purchasing activities with organizational goals.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and conduct supplier audits as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing management.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Understanding of supply chain management principles and inventory control.
