Job Description

Purchase Executive will be responsible for vendor management, logistic management, negotiation and quality assurance of each, and every item needed at HIAL. He will have to have a
foresightedness in understanding the purchases needed during and before the working season as well as plan the same in timely manner so as to ensure no delay is there in execution of projects in demand of the items.
She/He is expected to plan in advance a calendar of purchase and manage the supply chain for the purchases for HIAL and enterprise arm. With research bend of mind, he/she will be contributing towards RD in construction field by ensuring well-coordinated purchases and payments.

Responsibilities:
1. Analyse and evaluate vendors, supplier bids, tenders, proposals, or quotations.
2. Negotiate prices and delivery conditions and commit to purchases post approval keeping
in mind organisations best interest.
3. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, transporters and all other stakeholders for timely and
good quality product and its delivery.
4. Document and Maintain records of all purchase, vendor lists, dates, and project costs.
5. Handle any kind of disputes and claims that may arise.
6. Work in tandem with highly collaborative multi-discipline teams for their requirements for
timely purchase and availability at site.
7. Assists in research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications.
8. Responsible for QA/QC process adherence for all purchases.
9. Identify, research, and evaluate suppliers that meet the organizations standards of price,
quality, timing, and reliability of supply.
10. Interpret inventory requests, production schedules, purchase requisitions, orders, and
other documents to co-ordinate purchasing activities with the organizations current and
anticipated demand for goods and materials.

11. Monitor the quality and timeliness of materials and goods supplied.
12. Follow-up the status of purchase orders with vendors to ensure timely delivery and
communicate status of orders with internal stake holders.
13. Prepare indents and take ownership of the complete life cycle of the goods and material.
14. Monitor existing stock levels and place orders as needed
15. Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
16. Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Background:
1. Bachelors Degree or Masters
2. 4 to 5 years of similar experience

Preferred Educational Background:
1. Diploma in Procurement supply chain management
2. Any qualification in supply chain management or logistic management.
3. Understanding and knowledge of vendor management.

Preferred Work Experience and skills:
1. 5+ years of relevant work experience.
2. Professionalism in coordinating with team members across multiple disciplines
3. Strong verbal and accounting skills.
4. Very good analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost
analyses
5. Proven Negotiation skills
6. A keen eye for quality assurance and can appreciate the location challenges.
