Chatkazz Food & Spices LLP manages the backend operations for Chatkazz Australia and Sakhi Street Food and More. 

Chatkazz is one of Australia's most loved Indian street food restaurants — serving authentic flavours, big smiles, and a whole lot of desi nostalgia across 6 buzzing outlets. From our famous pav bhaji to vibrant festive campaigns, we celebrate Indian culture in every bite.

Sakhi is a premium, purpose-driven restaurant based in Gandhinagar that serves fresh & authentic Indian street food while empowering ambitious young women through employment and training.

Role Description:

The Purchase Executive will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of quality materials, maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting warehouse and operations teams. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, negotiation abilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining uninterrupted supply for business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source and procure food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and supply contracts to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers for consistent supply and quality.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor stock levels of raw materials and supplies across restaurant outlets.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and operations teams to forecast purchase requirements.
  • Prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
  • Work toward cost optimization without compromising quality.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all purchased materials meet food safety and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve quality or delivery issues.
  • Verify invoices and goods received against purchase orders.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain purchase orders, vendor records, and procurement reports.
  • Track purchase trends and pricing changes in the market.
  • Maintain proper documentation for audits and internal control.

Coordination

  • Work closely with kitchen teams, store managers, and the finance department.
  • Ensure timely material delivery to avoid operational disruptions.
