The Purchase Assistant will be responsible for supporting the procurement

team in sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the organization. The

role involves liaising with suppliers, placing orders, tracking deliveries, and

ensuring that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and

procedures.

Key Responsibilities:*Support in sourcing and purchasing goods and services

*Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes and negotiate prices

*Place purchase orders with suppliers and track deliveries

*Ensure that all purchases are made in accordance with company policies and

procedures

*Maintain accurate records of all purchases and contracts

*Assist with inventory management and stock control

*Provide support to other departments as required

*Participate in vendor evaluation and selection process

*Prepare reports on purchasing activities as required

*Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications:

*Graduate

*Good knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures

*Strong negotiation skills

*Excellent organizational skills

*Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

*Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

*Attention to detail and accuracy

*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
