Pump Design & Drafting Engineer

Roles & responsibilities

• To prepare shop drawing.
• To refer and understand the scope of work of the projects.
• Regular updation of drawing register.
• Updation of drawings.
• To carry out the main drawing based on the specification by the Manager- Projects.
• Review the site details with Engineers/Managers-Projects/Architect.
• To provide related projects details to sales department based on the customer supplied drawings/details measured from the site.
• To send drawings to the client for approval.
• Plan and issue the drawing as per requirement of Architect.
• Record all the drawings distribution in drawing control register.

Must have skills:

• Knowledge of pump designing and drafting is a pre-requisite
• Experience in Autocad & Production drawings
• Specific experience related to Pump assembly includes accessories and controls
• Should be able to prepare layout for booster pump, sump pump and end suction pumps, circulation pumps, expansion vessel assembly.
• Preparing BOQ's
• Estimation of pump assembly units
• Knowledge of electrical related pumps
• Should be able to read project specifications and consultant specifications
• Should be able to prepare compliance statements
