About the Role:

We are a dynamic and innovative PR & Marketing Agency seeking a highly motivated and experience-hungry Public Relations Trainee to join our team. As a PR Trainee, you will play a key role in supporting our PR efforts and gain valuable experience in the field across traditional & new age media platforms. If you're trying to build a strong foundation in media relations, PR content development, and brand storytelling - this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting press releases, media pitches, and emailers
  • Support media outreach by building and updating journalist and publication databases
  • Track and compile media coverage reports and daily media scans
  • Coordinate with journalists for interviews, quotes, and story follow-ups
  • Assist in preparing client briefs, media kits, and pitch decks
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and relevant story angles
  • Support senior team members during product launches, campaigns, and events
  • Maintain internal trackers and documentation for ongoing PR activities
  • Help in proofreading and editing content for accuracy and tone

Skills & Requirements

  • Graduate/Post-graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, PR, Marketing, or related fields
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic understanding of media, news cycles, and PR fundamentals
  • Ability to research, organize information, and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email tools (Google Suite)
  • Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and proactive with follow-ups

Preferred (Good to Have)

  • Internship experience in PR, media, journalism, or content
  • Familiarity with Indian media publications (business, lifestyle, regional)
  • Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content formats
