Job Title: Public Relations (PR) Executive
Department: Marketing / Corporate Communications
Reporting To: PR Manager / Marketing Head / Director
Job Summary
The PR Executive will be responsible for managing the organization's public image and supporting marketing and lead engagement activities. The role includes media coordination, brand communication, handling marketing leads through calls, and assisting walk-in clients, while ensuring a positive brand experience for all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Media & Communication
Draft and circulate press releases, media notes, and official communications
Coordinate with print, digital, TV, and social media platforms
Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media partners
Monitor media coverage and prepare PR reports
Marketing Leads & Client Interaction
Contact and follow up on marketing leads from various platforms
Explain company offerings from a marketing and brand perspective
Qualify leads and coordinate with sales/business development teams
Maintain proper records of lead calls and follow-ups
Walk-in Client Handling
Greet and attend walk-in clients professionally
Understand client requirements and provide basic project/company information
Coordinate meetings with the concerned sales or management team
Ensure a positive first impression and brand experience
Brand & Reputation Management
Ensure consistent brand messaging in all external communications
Support reputation management and basic crisis communication when required
Monitor public perception and brand mentions
Events & Campaigns
Assist in organizing PR events, launches, exhibitions, and marketing activities
Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams
Content & Documentation
Support content creation for newsletters, brochures, blogs, and presentations
Maintain PR and lead databases, media lists, and records
Coordination & Reporting
Work closely with marketing, sales, HR, and leadership teams
Prepare periodic PR and lead engagement reports
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Convincing and client-handling abilities
Basic sales and marketing understanding
Good follow-up and negotiation skills
Organized, presentable, and professional approach
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, PR, or related field
13 years of experience in PR, marketing, client coordination, or lead handling
Freshers with strong communication skills may also be considered
Preferred Experience
Experience in lead calling, client servicing, or front-office coordination
