Key Responsibilities1. Sanitation Awareness & Advocacy- Conduct awareness sessions in:
- Colleges and Universities
- Institutions and organizations
- Educate stakeholders on:
- Importance of clean and accessible toilets
- Hygiene practices and health risks (UTIs, infections, sanitation gaps)
- Role of digital tools like ToiletSeva in improving accountability
2. Subject Matter Expertise in Sanitation (SME Role)- Act as a public health advisor during institutional interactions
- Provide inputs on:
- Hygiene standards
- Accessibility and inclusivity
- User behaviour and sanitation challenges
- Build credibility for ToiletSeva through evidence-based communication
3. Institutional Engagement & Onboarding Support- Support organizations in understanding how ToiletSeva benefits them:
- Improved visibility
- Hygiene monitoring
- User trust and feedback systems
- Assist in onboarding institutions onto the platform
- Facilitate discussions leading to MoU sign-offs
4. Field Insights & Public Health Documentation- Observe and document sanitation gaps across different settings
- Capture insights on behaviour, infrastructure, and usage patterns
- Contribute to reports, case studies, or research outputs
5. Community & Stakeholder Interaction- Engage with users, staff, and facility managers
- Understand real-world challenges in sanitation maintenance and usage
- Translate field insights into actionable recommendations
Interns can be based Pan India.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters in Public Health

Program Structure- Orientation → Awareness & Field Work → Data & Insights → Final Project
Program Fee- ₹5,000 per month (the selected Interns have to pay ToiletSeva)
- Covers training, mentorship, field exposure, tools, and certification
Career Support- Strong Letter of Recommendation (LoR) awarded based on performance
Outcome- Certification upon successful completion
- Documented public health experience (field + awareness + systems work)
- Contribution to a large-scale sanitation initiative
