Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Psychology Tutor for a full-time remote role. The tutor will actively engage students through structured online sessions, deliver concept-driven lessons for international curricula, and support students in achieving strong academic outcomes by developing critical thinking, analytical, and research skills in Psychology.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver live online Psychology classes for international curricula (IB / AP / other global boards)
- Explain psychological theories, concepts, and research studies clearly using real-life examples and case discussions
- Build strong conceptual understanding of psychological principles and human behavior
- Develop students analytical, critical-thinking, and application skills in Psychology
- Design and execute customized lesson plans based on individual learning needs
- Create and share high-quality teaching materials, presentations, and resources
- Assign, review, and evaluate homework, tests, essays, and practice exercises
- Facilitate engaging discussions and encourage student participation and curiosity
- Provide additional academic support to slow learners when required
- Maintain strong professional relationships with students and parents
- Track, document, and report student progress and performance regularly
Skills Required
- Proven experience teaching Psychology for IB, AP, or other international curricula
- Strong understanding of Psychology syllabus across multiple levels
- Ability to simplify complex psychological theories and research into easy-to-understand explanations
- Excellent communication and student-engagement skills
- Strong written communication with high attention to detail
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience (formal or informal)
- Comfortable teaching students in an online environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and student-centric approach to teaching
Timings
- 8 hours a day between 6 AM 9 AM and 3 PM 11 PM
- Week off can be given on Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday
