Role Description
This remote internship role as a Psychology Course Sales Counsellor focuses on engaging with potential clients interested in mental health and psychology courses. The responsibilities include communicating with leads, understanding their needs, providing detailed course information, and offering professional guidance to help them choose the right program. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction, delivering exceptional service, and meeting sales targets through effective counseling and follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Ownership
Build, manage, and scale a team of 10 to 15 Course Sales Executives.
Take complete ownership of individual and team revenue targets.
Drive daily, weekly, and monthly enrollments through structured execution.
Coach, monitor, and push the team toward consistent high performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews and enforce accountability.
Sales Execution & Funnel Control
Own the complete sales funnel from lead allocation to final course enrollment.
Ensure strict follow-ups, high lead utilization, and closure discipline.
Personally intervene in high-value or stuck deals to ensure conversion.
Improve key metrics such as connect rate, demo bookings, and conversion ratio.
Maintain deep knowledge of Panha's courses, outcomes, and pricing.
Training, Quality & Compliance
Identify gaps in pitch, objection handling, and communication skills.
Conduct frequent training, mock calls, and skill-upgradation sessions.
Monitor call quality and ensure adherence to Panha's sales standards and ethics.
Build a results-oriented culture with zero tolerance for low performance.
Customer Escalations & Experience
Handle learner and parent escalations with speed and professionalism.
Ensure a learner-first experience without compromising revenue goals.
Protect Panha's brand trust while driving aggressive but ethical sales.
Reporting & Cross-Functional Alignment
Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics.
Share insights on lead quality, team productivity, and conversion gaps.
Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for performance improvement.
Skills & Competencies Required
Proven experience in B2C inside sales with strong revenue delivery.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a high-pressure, target-driven setup.
Strong command over spoken and written English.
High ownership mindset with data-driven decision-making skills.
Experience using CRM tools such as LeadSquared or Salesforce.
Strong reporting skills using Excel or Google Sheets.
Qualifications
Graduate in any stream. MBA preferred, not mandatory.
3 to 6 years of inside sales experience.
Minimum 1 year as a Team Lead or Manager handling revenue targets.
EdTech experience is highly preferred.
Performance & Compensation Structure
This is a performance-based, contract role.
Compensation is commission-based only and directly linked to enrollments and revenue generated. Earnings depend entirely on individual and team performance.
