The foundation also focuses on fostering relationships with policymakers and stakeholders to promote mental health awareness and support the welfare of vulnerable children.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Psychologist based in Mumbai. The Psychologist will provide psychological assessments, counseling services, and mental health support to children in need. The professional will work closely with caregivers, mental health workers, and diverse stakeholders to design and implement effective mental health interventions. Additionally, the role requires contributing to training programs and advocating for the mental well-being of vulnerable children. Documentation, research, and collaboration with the team to develop best practices are critical components of the position.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Psychology and Psychological Assessment techniques
  • Proficiency in Counseling and Mental Health intervention strategies
  • An understanding of or experience in Medicine as it relates to mental health and trauma care
  • Strong communication, coordination, and empathy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
  • Experience working with vulnerable children or in a non-profit/mental health care setting is an advantage
  • Proficiency in local languages and cultural competence in working with diverse communities
