Brief Description About The Project
This is a project to set up the advanced mycology Referral centre for diagnostics and research in Southern India approved by ICMR. It will involve setting up the centre for standardizing and introducing the newer diagnostic methods including molecular tests. We need a dedicated person to work in this setting.

Preferred Qualifications
- Three years Graduate degree in relevant subject/field+ three years post qualification experience or PG in relevant subject/field
Experience
Graduate degree in life science, Preferably in Microbiology
Preferred Language: English and South Indian vernacular at least
Location: Any location is fine
Salary:Rs. 36,400/- per month
Roles & Responsibilities
- Processing and storage of samples received, and maintenance of laboratory records include quality control procedures
- routine diagnostic activities Culture and identification of fungi
- molecular procedures Basic PCR
- antifungal susceptibility testing methods
- Obtain clinical details of all patients whose samples are received for diagnosis.
- Assist in carrying out research activities pertaining to Mycology.
- Data entry and Correspondence with ICMR.
