What you'll do
As a Project Officer, you'll be improving our planning and delivery process by collecting and maintaining data in a consistent form. You'll also support project governance and control including tracking the performance and progress of projects, project financial control, and adoption.
As Well As This, You'll
- Develop guidelines, procedures, and templates to collect and maintain consistent financial data, and provide hands-on delivery support to a programme or project
- Ensure effective controls and adherence to change management procedures as well as the provision of timely, accurate, and insightful management Information (MI) to support effective decision making
- Support with the creation and maintenance of programme or project plans as required by the programme or project manager
- Identify where cross-project dependencies exist and track or monitor these in support of the manager
The skills you'll need
You should have experience in MI reporting, financial analysis, and accounting principles, along with a background in project support roles. An understanding of different project types and the project lifecycle would be beneficial.
You'll Also Need
- Expertise in tools such as MS Office, Planview, Oracle, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of organisational processes and procedures, including risk frameworks
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
