The Project Manager is responsible for supporting the coordination of all aspects of assigned projects to meet and exceed customer expectations. Understands the programmatic approach (including global) and possesses the ability to build program structure. Incorporates lessons learned into continuous process improvement actions either within supply chain or elsewhere in the business.
Job Responsibilities
- Acts as Single-Point-of Contact (SPoC) for a project and be accountable for optimal customer satisfaction
- Documents and manages project scope, goals, timelines/milestones, budgets, and specific deliverables while keeping project teams highly engaged, motivated, and accountable
- Identifies and manages project risks, issues, action items, change requests and decisions including mitigation approaches and contingency plans
- Creates and manages project(s) status reports for deliverables and milestones for completeness
- Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Develops a detailed project plan to track progress
- Identifies and leads internal resources for predictive results
- Incorporates lessons learned into continuous process improvement actions either within supply chain or elsewhere in the business
- Builds high performing cross-functional teams.
- Manages World Wide Technology cross functional issues by ensuring all functions within the organization are performing to program expectations.
- Interacts with Program customers and vendors if needed
- Conducts all business in a manner that is consistent with World Wide Technology Core Values
- Identifies, evaluates and manages project team leads.
- Compiles and presents relative data points to executive stakeholders and management
- Manages financials, metrics, service level agreements and key performance indicators.

- 5 to 7 years of total experience and a minimum of 3 years project and/or program management experience within IT infrastructure
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.
- Previous experience working in a supply chain environment would be an added advantage
- Thoroughly understands the programmatic approach (including global) and possesses the ability to build program structure.
- Excellent understanding of financial processes with the ability to create pro forma, track project metrics, forecast future trends and manage change.
- Excellent understanding of the contract process with the ability to manage contract modifications, control the impact to a program, and take the lead for negotiations on contract scope, cost and schedule.
- Ability to work independently and aggressively track to project timelines.
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
- Strong MS office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc).
- Proficiency in working with project management software, i.e.: MS Project.
- Must have strong presentation and relationship building skills
