Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead the complete lifecycle of wind project execution from DPR, engineering coordination, procurement follow-ups, and site mobilization to COD.
  • Develop detailed project execution plans and drive adherence to cost, time, and quality targets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including land, engineering, procurement, logistics, and construction for smooth implementation.
  • Track project milestones, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.

Site Coordination & Monitoring

  • Frequently travel to project locations to monitor construction progress, contractor performance, and quality.
  • Address on-ground challenges such as terrain issues, access roads, equipment movement, and local clearances.
  • Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards during execution.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Interface with turbine suppliers, EPC contractors, civil and electrical vendors for timely delivery and installation.
  • Ensure project deliverables from vendors and contractors are as per contract and technical specifications.
  • Resolve site-level conflicts and escalate bottlenecks in a structured manner.

MIS & Reporting

  • Track and report project KPIs including schedule, cost, manpower, and equipment utilization.
  • Prepare regular updates and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support audit, compliance, and documentation as required.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Education: B Tech Fulltime Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil).
  • Experience: 18 22 years in project execution, with minimum 10+ years in Wind energy.
  • Strong track record of delivering wind projects (100+ MW) across multiple Indian states.
  • Proven leadership in managing multi-site teams, vendors, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Willing to travel extensively and spend time at sites as per project needs.
  • Knowledge of land acquisition processes and government approvals is a plus.
