Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to resolve day-to-day production support issues for distributed applications that support business operations. You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of change requests, from negotiation to delivery, and ensuring all issues are closed within the defined TAT. This role requires proven problem-solving skills, knowledge of BFSI functional domains, and experience with LMS Applications, preferably Pennant.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Production Support: Resolve day-to-day production support issues for various distributed applications that support business operations.
• Change Management: Manage change requests, including negotiation, definition of the scope of deliveries, commercial terms and conditions, ordering, and acceptance of deliveries.
• Incident & Problem Management: Handle incident and problem management to ensure issues and service requests are closed within the defined TAT to the satisfaction of the requester.
• System Management: Update key control systems, create and update run book documentation, and participate in and perform UAT/SIT.
• Disaster Recovery: Plan and execute DR drills for business applications.
• Vendor & SLA Management: Manage vendor liaison and SLA management.
• Process & Compliance: Prepare, execute, and monitor SOPs and ensure adherence to audit, process, and compliance standards.

Skills Required:

• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Strong knowledge of the BFSI functional domain, business process study, analysis, solutions design, and project execution.
• Technical knowledge and experience with LMS Applications (preferably Pennant), web-based applications, middleware, and integration through API.
• Familiarity with application servers like Oracle IAS, WebSphere, IIS, and Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with databases like Oracle, MS SQL, MY SQL, and Postgres.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and frequently changing priorities.

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
