Job Description

Location: Bengaluru

Experience - 7-9 Years

Roles and Responsibilities:

To lead and manage end-to-end delivery of workplace interior projects under the Shyftworks vertical, ensuring timely execution, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and seamless coordination between design, vendors, and clients. The Project Manager is responsible for converting approved designs into high-quality built environments while upholding Shyftworks's standards of execution and service excellence.

1. Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Develop comprehensive project execution plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
  • Conduct site feasibility checks and validate the scope of work before project commencement.
  • Coordinate with design and estimation teams to finalise BOQs, project budgets, and execution plans.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly work schedules aligned with overall project timelines.

2. Site Execution & Quality Control

  • Oversee daily site operations and ensure overall execution aligns with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor workmanship, finishing quality, materials usage, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct regular site reviews and quality audits; resolve deviations or technical issues proactively.
  • Maintain updated site records, MIS reports, and daily progress logs.

3. Vendor, Contractor & Material Coordination

  • Manage subcontractors, labor teams, and vendor partners to ensure timely delivery of tasks.
  • Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and site storage planning.
  • Review contractor bills, work orders, and reconciliation documentation.
  • Ensure all vendors follow Shyftworks's quality, compliance, and safety guidelines.

4. Client Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the single point of contact for the client throughout the project duration.
  • Provide regular updates, progress reports, and issue escalations to ensure transparency.
  • Conduct weekly project review meetings with clients and internal teams.
  • Manage change requests and ensure documentation of variations or additional work.

5. Design Coordination & Technical Validation

  • Review design intent drawings, GFC sets, and technical details with the design team.
  • Ensure on-site execution aligns with the approved design and brand standards.
  • Coordinate with MEP consultants and vendors for execution of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and network infrastructure.
  • Flag and resolve technical conflicts between architectural and MEP services.

6. Cost, Time & Risk Management

  • Track project costs, material usage, and labour productivity to maintain budget discipline.
  • Identify risks and delays early; prepare mitigation plans and corrective actions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to project timelines and milestone commitments.
  • Support project closure process including snagging, rectification, and handover.

7. Handover, Documentation & Closure

  • Prepare final snag lists, checklists, testing reports, and compliance documents.
  • Ensure smooth handover of the completed project to the client.
  • Prepare a final project report with timelines, quality checks, vendor performance, and cost summary.
  • Conduct post-handover review to identify improvement areas for future projects.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong understanding of interior materials, MEP services, and execution processes.
  • Detail-oriented approach with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
