Roles & Responsibilities
1. Project Planning and Coordination
- Define project scope, schedule, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and design teams.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate between architects, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
2. Client Communication and Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and status updates.
- Understand client needs and ensure they are reflected in the design and execution.
3. Team Leadership and Supervision
- Lead internal project teams including architects, designers, draftsmen, and 3D visualizers.
- Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
- Facilitate collaboration and problem-solving within the team.
4. Design Oversight and Quality Control
- Oversee design development to ensure alignment with client requirements, local regulations, and firm standards.
- Review architectural drawings, details, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
- Ensure design quality and consistency throughout all project stages.
5. Budget and Cost Management
- Monitor project budgets and control costs.
- Coordinate with the finance team for billing, cost tracking, and resource planning.
- Manage value engineering without compromising design intent.
6. Scheduling and Deadline Management
- Ensure project milestones and final delivery deadlines are met.
- Address and resolve delays, conflicts, or roadblocks proactively.
- Maintain updated schedules and progress reports.
7. Regulatory Compliance and Approvals
- Coordinate with consultants and authorities for permits, approvals, and compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Stay updated on statutory requirements and ensure timely submissions.
8. Risk Management
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Handle disputes or issues between stakeholders with professionalism and diplomacy.
9. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, meeting minutes,
- drawings, change orders, and communication logs.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.
