Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Site Management
- Represent Vertiv Services at customer and contractor meetings for assigned projects.
- Coordinate installation, start-up, commissioning, inspection, and site testing activities.
- Review scope of work, customer procedures, and train personnel accordingly.
- Define and manage manpower requirements for the project.
- Complete all project documentation including technical submittals, as-built drawings, and test procedures.
- Monitor project progress, escalate conflicts, and ensure timely completion.
Technical Leadership
- Provide on-the-job training and technical direction to associates on site.
- Conduct field customer training as required.
- Communicate with Technical Support regarding equipment issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Method Statements, Safety Bulletins, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips.
Safety & Compliance
- Operate safely in accordance with company guidelines and wear appropriate PPE.
- Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective actions, including halting work if necessary.
- Report all work-related accidents or injuries within 24 hours.
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Provide clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate pre-site meetings, support contractors during installation, and provide technical assistance.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and manage expectations during high-pressure situations.
5. Administration & Reporting
- Prepare commissioning reports, project close-out documentation, and customer training records.
- Provide time and material quotes for additional services or labor requirements.
- Maintain accurate reporting of time cards, expense reports, and ticket closures.
6. Performance & Professionalism
- Ensure attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to schedules.
- Make informed technical and commercial decisions under pressure.
- Lead by example, fostering professionalism and high standards among field associates.
- Demonstrate strong communication and diplomacy with all organizational levels.
