About Project Anushka
Project Anushka is a rural youth emotional-support initiative aimed at bridging the growing communication and emotional gap between rural children and their parents in the digital era.
Our mission is to create a safe, understanding and supportive environment for young rural minds by offering emotional support, awareness sessions, youth mentoring groups and parent sensitization.
We are now looking for a dedicated Project Manager to lead this mission on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Youth Emotional Support Line (WhatsApp/Phone)
- Coordinate volunteers, counsellors, schools, panchayats and SHG groups
- Conduct awareness drives and rural community sessions
- Build and manage Youth Support Circles in villages
- Handle youth concerns with empathy, confidentiality and care
- Maintain project documentation, weekly reports and operational planning
- Facilitate urban-parent & rural-parent mentorship initiatives
- Execute counsellorvillage adoption model and monthly charity sessions
Required Skills
- Strong communication skills (Hindi essential)
- Empathy, patience and ability to handle sensitive conversations
- Good coordination, leadership and planning ability
- Basic understanding of rural communities and youth challenges
- Problem-solving mindset and non-judgmental behaviour
Preferred Background
- Graduate in any field (Social Work / Psychology preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in community work, youth programs or NGOs is a plus
- Freshers with passion for social work are also encouraged to apply

Compensation
- INR 35,000 per month (Consolidated)
- Travel & field-visit allowance
