Project Manager - Process Engineering

Utthunga is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Process Engineering to lead and manage complex process engineering projects. You'll be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning and implementation to stakeholder coordination and successful delivery. If you have a strong background in process simulation or modeling projects and possess excellent leadership and communication skills, you'll play a vital role in driving efficiency and innovation within our team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning and implementation of various process engineering projects, including:
• Process Simulation
• Operator Training Simulators (OTS)
• Advanced Process Control (APC)
• Asset Performance Management (APM)
• Energy Optimization
• Feasibility Studies
• And other similar related projects.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, schedule, and required resources.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor and track project progress meticulously, including diligent budget management and optimal resource allocation.
• Maintain routine interaction with clients for ongoing project reviews and to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication, alignment on project deliverables, and seamless execution.
• Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, developing effective mitigation plans as needed.
• Evaluate project outcomes thoroughly and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders and leadership.
• Support Proposal and Estimations for new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience (7-8 years) in project management, specifically within the field of simulations or modeling.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of guiding teams and interacting effectively with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of simulation software and technologies is a plus.
