Role Overview
The Projects function acts as a bridge between client requirements and internal execution teams. This role involves managing end-to-end product development projects from understanding client briefs to ensuring timely delivery of final products by coordinating with cross-functional teams like R&D, packaging, design, purchase, production, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client briefs, technical requirements, and design expectations for new product developments.
- Translate client needs into actionable internal project briefs.
- Collaborate with R&D for formulation readiness, packaging team for component development, and design for artwork alignment.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution of all deliverables.
- Create and maintain detailed project timelines, trackers, and status reports.
- Manage project communication between internal teams, vendors, and clients.
- Ensure product feasibility, cost targets, and quality standards are met at each development stage.
- Track approvals, samples, trials, and final dispatch readiness.
- Identify and resolve potential roadblocks proactively to meet launch timelines.
- Present project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Engineering, Science, or Management (preferably in Cosmetics, Chemical, or Packaging background).
- Experience: 410 years in project management / new product development in FMCG, personal care, or cosmetics industry.
- Strong understanding of formulations, packaging components, and product development cycles.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and ownership mindset.
