Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end-to-end website migration initiatives for a banking environment. The role involves managing complex digital transformation projects, ensuring seamless migration of public-facing and secure web platforms with minimal disruption, while adhering to regulatory, security, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of website migration projects (CMS/platform/cloud migrations)
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams: IT, digital, cybersecurity, compliance, vendors
- Manage migration of content, data, integrations, and APIs
- Ensure minimal downtime and zero data loss during migration
- Oversee testing phases: UAT, performance, security, and regression testing
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data privacy, and security standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Manage third-party vendors, developers, and system integrators
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–12 years of experience in IT Project Management
- Proven experience in website migration / re-platforming projects
- Strong understanding of:
- CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, WordPress)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs)
- Experience in banking / financial services / regulated environments
- Knowledge of data migration, SEO preservation, and URL redirection strategies
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance standards
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with Agile / Scrum / Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project
Good to Have
- Experience with digital banking platforms or customer portals
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certifications
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
