Project Manager - IT infrastructure & Network

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in IT infrastructure and network management to join our dynamic team in Chennai or Hyderabad/Secunderabad. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of extensive experience in managing complex IT projects and a deep understanding of networking technologies. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership skills who can drive project success and ensure the alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure and network projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and vendors, to ensure project success.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in IT infrastructure and network management.
• Facilitate project meetings, documenting minutes and action items to ensure accountability and follow-up.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 12-15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, etc.).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards project goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) are highly desirable.
