Role Overview

The Project Manager / Delivery Manager (SOC Project Lead) will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of Security Operations Center (SOC) deployment and ongoing managed security services. The role involves overseeing project planning, execution, resource management, and coordination across multiple SOC workstreams to ensure successful project delivery within defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.

The candidate will act as the primary liaison between the delivery teams, client PMO, and key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, alignment on project objectives, and effective management of change requests and contractual obligations. This role also requires continuous monitoring of project risks, issues, and dependencies, while maintaining mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.

In addition, the role includes oversight of operational coordination across SOC functions such as deployment, operations, detection engineering, and compliance, while ensuring proper resource allocation and staffing. The Project Manager will also manage financial and contractual aspects of the engagement, including purchase orders, invoicing, burn rates, and SLA-related incentives or penalties, ensuring transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Own end-to-end project delivery manage scope, schedule, quality, and risk for SOC deployment and ongoing managed services.
2. Serve as primary interface between delivery team and client PMO; manage expectations, change requests, and contractual obligations.
3. Manage resource planning and allocation ensuring SOC positions are staffed with qualified personnel.
4. Track project risks, issues, and dependencies and maintain mitigation plans.
5. Coordinate across SOC work streams including deployment, operations, detection engineering, and compliance.
6. Manage financial aspects including P&L, purchase orders, invoicing, burn rates, and SLA penalties/incentives.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. B.Tech / MBA with minimum 7+ years in Large Scale IT project management, including experience managing cybersecurity or managed security services projects.
2. Mandatory: PMP (PMI) or PRINCE2 Practitioner + at least one of CISSP, CISM, or ITIL v4 Expert.
3. Demonstrated experience managing government / enterprise SOC projects.
4. Strong understanding of SOC operations and cybersecurity services.
5. Excellent stakeholder management and ability to coordinate with OEM vendors and government stakeholders.

Important Location Note

Candidates must be based in Delhi / NCR or in nearby locations. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in and around Delhi.
