Job Summary
We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Project Manager to support and manage the delivery of cybersecurity projects and client engagements.
The successful candidate will work closely with cybersecurity engineers, project teams, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are well planned, properly coordinated, and delivered according to agreed timelines and requirements.
This role will have a strong focus on project coordination, engineer resource management, client communication, progress tracking, and delivery support. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with technical teams and have a good understanding of IT or cybersecurity project environments.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Coordination
- Coordinate cybersecurity projects from project initiation through completion.
- Assist in developing project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track project progress and ensure key tasks and deliverables are completed on time.
- Maintain project documentation, reports, meeting minutes, and status updates.
- Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate project meetings and ensure action items are properly tracked.
Engineer & Resource Management
- Coordinate and manage cybersecurity engineers assigned to projects and client engagements.
- Assist with engineer scheduling, resource allocation, and workload planning.
- Coordinate engineers onsite and remote assignments based on project requirements.
- Follow up with engineers on project tasks, deliverables, and deadlines.
- Ensure engineers have the necessary project information, access, and resources to perform their work.
- Escalate resource constraints, delays, or project issues to the relevant Project Manager or management.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a key point of contact between clients, engineers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Coordinate client meetings, project kick-offs, progress updates, and project reviews.
- Provide clients with regular project status updates and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Manage day-to-day communication and ensure client requirements are clearly communicated to the technical team.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Cybersecurity Project Support
- Work closely with cybersecurity engineers to understand project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cybersecurity engagements such as Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT), security assessments, security implementation, security monitoring, and other IT security projects.
- Track technical deliverables and ensure project documentation and reports are completed according to requirements.
- Escalate technical issues to the appropriate technical lead or engineer when required.
Commercial & Administrative Support
- Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, procurement, invoicing, and project-related administrative matters.
- Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and other internal teams where required.
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
- Support management in preparing project reports and management updates.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A Bachelor's Degree with a good academic background is preferred.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in project coordination, project management, IT services, cybersecurity, or technical project environments.
- Candidates with experience coordinating engineers, technical teams, or IT resources will have an advantage.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or technology projects is preferred.
- Strong organisational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience with project management or collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and willingness to learn.
- PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, or relevant cybersecurity certification is an advantage but not mandatory.
