About The Role

Candidates will be part of the Professional Services Group and work as a Project Manager with a team of implementation consultants. An attractive candidate will typically have 10 to 15 years of experience and 5 - 7 years of leadership responsibility in managing medium to large-scale, technical/functional project implementations for an enterprise software solutions provider, enabling their clients value realization of the Software and Service subscriptions.

Industry Experience

GoldenSource is looking to augment its Professional Services team with someone having specific industry experience within the IT arena of Capital Market participants such as Banks, Asset Managers, Asset Owners and Service Providers. Ideal experience would include having led projects in the Data Management space in support of regulatory compliance, powering trade processing systems, investment management solutions or client/legal entity data management systems. Experience of managing packaged software implementations into both greenfield sites or as part of a legacy solution replacement would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scope Management

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules aligned with business goals.

Resource & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and cross-functional stakeholders in different geographies and timezones, to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, suppliers, and client teams.

Financial & Risk Management

  • Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure accurate financial tracking.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks; escalate critical issues promptly.

Communication & Reporting

  • Provide clear, timely updates on project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Conduct regular status meetings and share forecasts, dependencies, and action plans.

Delivery & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure all deliverables meet agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Continuously monitor progress and adjust plans to maintain project success.

Change & Contract Management

  • Review contracts, perform risk analysis, and update leadership on findings.
  • Negotiate scope changes and manage change requests to achieve consensus.

Client Engagement & Value Creation

  • Build customer confidence through proactive communication, detailed planning, and value-driven solutions.

Required Skill

Extensive Program & Project Leadership

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-project environments with proactive risk management and strong stakeholder engagement

Professional Certification

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred

Strategic Communication

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging technical and non-technical global audiences at all organizational levels, including executives

Conflict Resolution & Negotiation

  • Ability to manage challenging conversations, resolve conflicts effectively and drive consensus on scope changes and priorities

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Strong client-facing skills with expertise in proactive escalation handling, detailed problem-solving and building trust through value-driven delivery

  • Skilled in evaluating team performance, providing coaching, and implementing corrective actions to foster growth and accountability

  • Proficient in forecasting project cost to ensure budgetary control and financial efficiency

Global Delivery & Agile Expertise

  • Experience managing multiple clients across regions, with deep knowledge of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and leading distributed teams

  • Ability to operate autonomously, prioritize effectively and deliver results under tight deadlines
