YOUR TASKS
- Oversee all aspects of assigned projects from initiation to completion.
- Lead, direct, and coordinate activities of project personnel. Ensure that project tasks, including scheduling and resource allocation, are completed in accordance with strategic objectives.
- Perform risk management to manage project risks and issues; develop contingency plans when needed.
- Create, maintain, and track comprehensive project plans, schedules and timelines. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Develop and sustain effective communication, coordination and working relationships with clients, team members and stakeholders.
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements. Review project outcomes against initial project success conditions.
- Manage and control project budget. Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
- Resolve cross-functional issues at project level. Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making with respect to project challenges.
- Maintain relevant project documentation, including contracts, quotes, change orders, and project status reports.
- Ensure adherence to legal regulations, company standards and policies, and ethical practices.
- Facilitate project meetings, set agendas, and distribute minutes.
- Conduct project post-mortems to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Continuously develop and refine project management best practices and contribute to the company's knowledge of project management standards and techniques.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, IT or a related field. A Master's degree or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from conception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools, including an understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with project management software tools and proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Outstanding leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to foresee potential risks and develop contingency plans.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
- Experience in vendor management and understanding of contract law and frameworks.
- Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting and cost control principles.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes, manage ambiguity, and demonstrate resilience in fast-paced and demanding situations.
- Experience in a specific industry sector may also be required, depending on the nature of the projects the organization undertakes.
