Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in ECE / EEE / Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation or related field

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, execution, and completion of Signalling & Telecommunication (S&T) railway projects within schedule, budget, and quality standards. The role involves coordination with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure safe and efficient project delivery in compliance with railway norms and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and monitor end-to-end S&T railway projects.

Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.

Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of S&T systems (EI/PI, OFC, Axle Counters, IPS, Telecom systems, etc.).

Coordinate with Railway authorities, contractors, consultants, and vendors.

Ensure compliance with Railway standards, safety procedures, and statutory requirements.

Track project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.

Handle site teams, subcontractors, and manpower allocation.

Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and approve work execution.

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.

Prepare and present progress reports to management and clients.

Ensure quality control, testing documentation, and inspections.

Support billing, measurement certification, and contract management.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of Railway S&T systems and standards.

Project planning and scheduling expertise (MS Project/Primavera preferred).

Leadership and team management skills.

Excellent coordination and stakeholder management.

Problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.

Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Indian Railways / Metro / RDSO approved projects.

Exposure to EI/PI commissioning, OFC laying, and Telecom networks.

Experience in handling multiple sites/projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of tendering, contracts, and billing procedures.
