Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager with hands-on experience supporting Data, Analytics, and AI-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, executing, and delivering projects involving data platforms, analytics solutions, and AI/ML use cases, working closely with cross-functional technical and business teams.
This role is ideal for someone early in their PM career who understands data ecosystems and wants to grow into managing complex, technology-driven programs.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Coordination
- Support end-to-end project delivery for Data, Analytics, and AI initiatives
- Assist in defining project scope, timelines, milestones, and dependencies
- Track project progress, risks, issues, and action items
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with data engineers, analytics teams, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders
- Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and status meetings
- Prepare and share project status reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business users
Agile & Delivery Support
- Support Agile / Scrum / Kanban delivery models
- Maintain project artifacts such as user stories, backlogs, RAID logs, and documentation
- Assist Product Owners in backlog grooming and release planning
Data, Analytics & AI Context
Support projects involving:
Data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines
BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
AI/ML use cases such as predictive analytics, NLP, or automation
Help track model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring milestones
Required Qualifications:
Experience
- 10-14 yrs total experience with 2–4 years of experience as a Project Coordinator, Junior Project Manager, or similar role
- Experience supporting Data, Analytics, or AI/ML projects
- Hands-on experience working with cross-functional technical teams
Technical & Domain Knowledge
- Basic understanding of:
- Data engineering and analytics concepts
- AI/ML lifecycle (data preparation, model training, deployment)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP – basic familiarity)
- Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar
Project Management Skills
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid delivery models
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Communication & Soft Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CAPM, or Agile/Scrum certification (or working toward one)
- Exposure to AI governance, data quality, or MLOps concepts
- Experience in industries such as Healthcare, Life Sciences, Finance, or Retail
