We are seeking a proactive Project Manager to manage all scheduling and planning activities for our projects. You will be responsible for translating the project's scope of work into detailed plans, meticulously tracking progress, and preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within budget, with a focus on risk mitigation and effective resource management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Planning & Scheduling:
- Supervise and execute projects efficiently and effectively, tracking Progress, Time, Cost, Quality & EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) as per the project schedule.
- Prepare an integrated schedule (L2/L3/L4 WBS) using Primavera or MS Project.
- Update and re-baseline the schedule based on new inputs.
- Develop a catch-up plan and implement schedule crashing and fast-tracking as required.
- Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct risk analysis and develop a mitigation plan.
- Highlight the critical path and generate a critical path report.
- Perform schedule delay analysis and generate delay reports as required (department-wise, plant-wise, contractor-wise, etc.).
- Prepare presentations for senior management meetings and present them clearly.
- Generate various reports, including Progress S-curves, Cost Consumption S-curves, Delay Analysis Reports, Catch-up Plans, 30-day look-ahead reports, Milestone reporting, and Risk and Risk Mitigation reports.
- Resource & Team Management:
- Perform resource loading and resource leveling, including resource utilization reporting.
- Resolve cross-functional issues at the project level.
- Coordinate with all contractors to address interdependency issues and ensure project objectives are achieved.
Skills
- Proficiency with planning and scheduling software like MS Project or Primavera.
- Knowledge of the PMP certification process.
- Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
