Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Prepare detailed construction schedules and ensure alignment with overall project milestones.
- Coordinate with consultants and design teams during planning and pre-construction stages.
Project Execution & Site Management
- Lead on-site construction activities for high-rise and commercial buildings.
- Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Monitor daily site progress and resolve execution challenges proactively.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Supervise project engineers, site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular review meetings to track progress and address bottlenecks.
- Foster collaboration between civil, MEP, finishing, and other functional teams.
Stakeholder & Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide regular project status updates and progress reports.
- Ensure smooth coordination with government bodies for approvals and compliance.
Risk & Cost Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial discipline.
- Review variations, change orders, and contractual claims.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all construction work complies with local building codes and industry standards.
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
- Maintain adherence to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain project documentation including contracts, drawings, BOQs, and change orders.
- Prepare MIS reports and progress dashboards for management review.
