Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager for a full-time on-site position in Bengaluru. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily project management activities and client relations. This multifaceted role entails managing Aurassure's Air Quality and Weather monitoring devices, data analysis, customer and stakeholder management to a large extent.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Project Execution: Own end-to-end delivery of multiple IoT monitoring projects (air quality, weather, flood) across cities: scoping, planning, execution, risk management, acceptance and handover to steady-state ops.
- Break down contracts into detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies, resource plans and budgets; run weekly internal and external reviews to keep everything on track.
- Coordinate site surveys, permissions, hardware dispatch, installation, network and power readiness, and remote onboarding/configuration with internal teams and partners.
- Work closely with the NOC / platform teams to monitor device health, connectivity and data quality; drive incident response and root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Build and publish clear project dashboards (install progress, uptime, SLA adherence, issues, risk register) for leadership and clients.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Liaise directly with government officials and B2B clients to secure project buy-in, site approvals, and necessary compliances, handle escalations, align expectations and convert value into follow-on business.
- Systematically capture requirements and field feedback, convert them into structured inputs for Product and Engineering, and help prioritise features that reduce ops load and improve reliability.
- Account Growth: Drive customer satisfaction through continuous engagement, maximizing device uptime to increase upsells and secure long-term Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
- Own and improve SOPs and checklists for site readiness, installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, incident management, device RMA and decommissioning.
- Data Synthesis & Reporting: Perform robust data analysis on environmental metrics to synthesize actionable insights, prepare high-quality project proposals, and deliver comprehensive post-completion reports.
- Mentor 13 project coordinators / field leads to take over recurring tasks, while you focus on orchestration, risk and stakeholder management.
- Ensure commercial hygiene for your projects: acceptance documentation, billing milestones, variation orders, and basic margin tracking.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in IoT, hardware deployment, or infrastructure projects.
- Education: Graduation in Physics/Chemistry/Environmental Science, or a B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering.
- Proven track record of independently delivering multi-site projects with multiple vendors and internal teams, ideally in a government / enterprise context.
- Demonstrated ability to set up or scale processes (SOPs, templates, flowcharts, dashboards) rather than only running existing ones.
- High ownership and bias for action, comfortable operating in ambiguity and fixing processes while delivering.
- Efficient Project planning, timely execution with a focused tracking of key metrics, project budget, to ensure success of all new and ongoing projects
- Familiarity with Project Management tools such as Zoho Projects or similar tools, good at excel/ google for quick analysis, willingness to learn and apply AI in work, PMP principles, is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication; ability to talk equally well to field technicians, OEM partners, system integrators, bureaucrats and CXOs.
- Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel across India and abroad based on project requirements. Good to have a passport
