Job Title: .NET Project Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced .NET Project Manager to lead the maintenance, support, and modernization of legacy .NET applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing enterprise application support along with driving transformation initiatives such as migrating legacy systems to modern, scalable architectures using gRPC or REST services.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in managing .NET-based application projects (C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+).
- Proven track record in handling legacy application support and modernization programs.
- Experience in application migration strategies (e.g., .NET Remoting to gRPC/REST).
- Good understanding of microservices architecture and API ecosystems.
- Experience managing third-party integrations and vendor coordination.
- Strong knowledge of incident management, SLAs, and support processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and DevOps practices.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum and/or ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of legacy application maintenance, support, and modernization programs.
- Drive the modernization of .NET Windows applications, including transition from .NET Remoting to gRPC or REST-based services.
- Oversee production support activities, including incident management, root cause analysis, and SLA adherence.
- Plan and execute project roadmaps, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Development, QA, DevOps, Architecture, and Business stakeholders).
- Ensure seamless integration with third-party systems and services.
- Track and report project status, risks, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Implement best practices in Agile/DevOps delivery models.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency in support and delivery processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality, security, and performance standards.
