Project Manager Strategic Initiatives

Location: Mumbai, India, office based.

About the role

We are looking for a Project Manager Strategic Initiatives to support the setup and execution of a key cross-functional programme within Achilles India.

Working closely with the Director and senior stakeholders, this role ensures strategic initiatives are translated into structured plans and delivered with pace, clarity, and strong execution discipline.

You will act as the central coordination point across delivery, commercial, technology, HR, finance, and operations teams, aligning priorities, managing dependencies, and ensuring progress remains on track.

Well suited to professionals from consulting, transformation, PMO, or complex operational environments, this role requires someone who can bring structure to ambiguity, drive accountability, and enable teams to deliver effectively against critical timelines.

This role plays a key part in ensuring a major business initiative is delivered with clarity, control, and operational readiness.

Key Focus Areas

• Translate strategic objectives into clear project plans, milestones, and workstreams
• Coordinate across Data Validation, Customer Growth, Audit Delivery, Technology, HR, Finance, and Operations teams
• Establish governance cadence, track progress, and provide structured updates to leadership
• Identify dependencies early, resolve blockers, and ensure readiness across teams
• Drive project setup covering workspace, IT enablement, vendors, and process alignment

Ideal Profile

• 812+ years of experience in project or program management
• Strong experience managing cross-functional initiatives
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and complex environments
• Highly organised, execution-focused, and solution-oriented

Skills

• Strong project planning and coordination capability
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
• Structured thinking and problem-solving approach
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• High ownership and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline
• PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification is an advantage but not mandatory
