About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Functional Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of web technology and digital projects across client and internal engagements.

This role requires a strong agency-side project manager who can manage PHP stack-based projects (WordPress, Laravel), while working closely with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

The ideal candidate should combine technical understanding, project management expertise, and delivery ownership, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Own and drive end-to-end project delivery across website, CMS, and digital platform projects
• Define project roadmaps, timelines, milestones, and delivery plans
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical execution
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in an agency environment
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

Project Planning & Governance

• Create detailed project plans, Gantt charts, sprint plans, and milestone trackers
• Define project scope, timelines, dependencies, and ownership
• Build and maintain:

-RACI matrix

-RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)

-Escalation matrix

-Resource allocation tracker

-Status reporting dashboards

• Develop risk mitigation plans and issue resolution frameworks
• Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependency issues
• Ensure strong documentation discipline across all projects

Technical Project Management

• Manage projects across:

-WordPress

-Custom PHP stack

-CMS-driven websites

-Landing pages and microsites

-API / third-party integrations

• Convert client and business briefs into clear functional and technical requirements
• Work closely with design, development, QA, SEO, and content teams
• Drive sprint planning, estimation reviews, and release timelines
• Ensure smooth staging, UAT, deployment, and go-live processes

Vendor & Partner Management

• Coordinate with external technology vendors, development partners, and hosting partners
• Define vendor scope, timelines, deliverables, and accountability
• Monitor vendor delivery quality and SLA adherence
• Ensure smooth communication between internal teams and vendor partners
• Escalate and resolve vendor-side risks and blockers
• Support the evaluation of vendors for specialized project requirements

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Lead client calls, requirement workshops, and project status reviews
• Act as the bridge between the client, internal teams, and vendor partners
• Ensure expectation alignment across scope, timeline, and budget
• Present project progress, risks, and mitigation plans to leadership and clients
• Manage change requests and scope revisions

Process & Delivery Excellence

• Establish strong project management standards across the web delivery function
• Introduce Kanban / Agile workflow systems
• Improve turnaround time and cross-functional collaboration
• Build reusable templates for project documentation and delivery governance

Tools & Platforms

Strong working knowledge of:

• Jira
• ClickUp / Asana / Trello
• Microsoft Project / Excel
• Google Workspace
• Google Slides
• WordPress / CMS platforms

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical project management / digital delivery
• Proven agency-side experience is mandatory
• Strong experience handling WordPress and PHP stack projects
• Proven experience in vendor management and coordination
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks
• Knowledge of Agile, Kanban, and waterfall methodologies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
