However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy's units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy to date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.
How you'll make an impact:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Oversee the design, implementation, and testing of electrical control and protection for high voltage protection. Collaborate with customers to understand requirements, provide technical support, and ensure satisfaction to customers requirements.
Ensure all projects are met its quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
Provide technical expertise in electrical engineering, control systems, and protection schemes.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications, Manufacturing drawings / documentation, test plans, and reports.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across all products.
Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Your background:
Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on control and protection schematics of substations.
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proficiency in electrical design software and tools like E3Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
