This Position reports to:

Senior Project Lead Engineer


Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your proficiency by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.

The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite

This role is contributing to the in energy division.

The main stakeholders are internal engineering teams, project managers, site commissioning teams, procurement, and external clients including EPC contractors and end users in the oil & gas sector


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.

  • Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.

  • Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.

  • Applying design thinking or design for efficiency concepts in projects, including modeling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.



Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

  • Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation or related discipline).

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant DCS engineering, with practical exposure in project execution, design, and commissioning.

  • Proficient knowledge of engineering standards, safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.

  • Experience acting as a technical lead or design authority on low-to-medium complexity projects.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a global environment.

  • Willing to travel for site support and commissioning as required.
