Job Title: Project Head

Summary
The head Projects shall lead the end-to-end execution of fit out for Cinema
halls/multiplexes, ensuring they are completed within budget on time, meeting the
quality standards.
The responsibilities shall include vendor management, site supervision, client
relationship, safety compliances.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead greenfield and brownfield multiplex projects from concept to commissioning.
- Prepare detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and brand standards.
- Drive value engineering without compromising quality.
2. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor project budgets (CapEx).
- Conduct cost benchmarking and feasibility analysis.
- Introduce & Implement cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved financial parameters.
3. Design & Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with architects, consultants (including MEP, HVAC, acoustics, fire & safety), and interior designers.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, NBC norms, fire regulations, and statutory requirements in India.
- Oversee cinema-specific technical standards (projection systems, acoustics, seating layouts, screen installation).
4. Vendor & Contractor Management
- Finalize contractors and suppliers through techno-commercial evaluation.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Conduct regular site reviews and progress meetings.
- Ensure contractual compliance and dispute resolution.
5. Statutory Approvals & Liaison
- Liaise with government authorities for approvals (Fire NOC, Occupancy
- Certificate, Electrical Inspector approvals, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with local municipal regulations and mall developer requirements.
6. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with mall developers, landlords, operations team, and finance
- department.
- Provide periodic updates to senior management.
- Manage cross-functional coordination for seamless project handover.
7. Risk Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure implementation of safety standards at site.
- Monitor quality assurance processes.
Qualification & Experience:
Over 15 years of experience in interior fitout, preferably in Retail. Proficiency in
AutoCAD, MS office, end project management software. Strong leadership,
communication, negotiation & conflict resolution skills.
Preferably, Civil Engineer, Architect or Interior Designer.
