Role OverviewThe role demands strong expertise in debt compliance, treasury management, commercial negotiations, banking relationships, and team leadership. The incumbent should have hands-on experience in infrastructure corporate and project finance, with specific exposure to the transport and energy sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Review, negotiate, and manage debt financing and security documents
- Maintain and deepen relationships with banks, infrastructure funds, financial institutions, AMCs, insurance companies, PFs, and other lenders for escrow/TRA banking, treasury operations, and transaction processing
- Oversee end-to-end treasury management, including cash flow analysis across the portfolio, yield distribution to investors, and identification of funding requirements for project assets
- Monitor compliance with all loan and debenture documentation
- Review settlement and accounting of equity, ETF, and derivatives (F&O) trades
- Prepare and manage MIS for borrowings, investments, and bank balances
- Lead SAP treasury modules covering borrowings and treasury operations
- Head mid-office and back-office functions, driving automation for efficiency, accuracy, and zero compliance errors
- Liaise with credit rating agencies for rating reviews and renewals
- Manage issuance, allotment, and listing of secured/unsecured, listed/unlisted, redeemable NCDs, including pre- and post-disbursement compliance with debenture trust deeds
- Handle ECB raisings and ensure adherence to all related regulatory compliances
- Monitor project commercial performance and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and trustees to achieve optimal outcomes
- Prepare presentations and reports related to borrowings and treasury activities for senior management and stakeholders
