Job description:
The Project Finance Accountant (PFA) ensures accurate, efficient, and compliant accounting for customer projects.
As part of the PFA Data Integrity team, this role offers a strong opportunity to drive automation and digitalization across the Order-to-Cash process. You will collaborate with a diverse team of forward-thinking professionals who continuously challenge the status quo to shape innovative, future-ready solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in BTech, BCA, MCA, or Accounting/Finance, with strong understanding and hands-on experience in customer contract accounting, data & analytics, project performance management, automation tools, and compliance-related areas.
Minimum 4–5 years of experience in transactional accounting and financial reporting, with exposure to SAP/ERP environments. Proven capability in reporting, analytics, automation, and technical tools such as Power Automate, Power BI, Python, SAP solutions (SAP Analytics Cloud, Fiori, Business Objects, SAP Build Process Automation, Joule), as well as VBA, macros, and related technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong business understanding of project financials, including SAP project setup and core accounting and finance principles.
- Lead and support automation and digitalization initiatives across the global Order-to-Invoice process.
- Identify, understand, and apply emerging digital tools and concepts to drive continuous automation and process improvement.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and continuous enhancements within supported tools and systems.
- Contribute to financial governance and stakeholder meetings by preparing relevant materials and delivering insights through business analysis and financial expertise.
- Drive external projects system objects closure in SAP.
