We are looking for a dynamic Project Engineer who can drive projects from concept to completion with precision, efficiency, and a problem-solving mindset
Kindly Note - This position will be on Third Party Payroll and Location will be at Mahape, Navi Mumbai
Job Responsibilities: -
Project Management
- The Project Engineer's position is responsible for:
- Manage the execution of CAPEX projects of Lubricants Division from the commencement of
- Engineering studies until completion of construction, commissioning and handover to Operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the projects smoothly.
- Manage Project planning and monitoring within the domain.
- Ensure compliance with national regulations, TE rules and specifications and industry standards.
- Co-ordinating all Actions with PMC as necessary for successful execution of the project until smooth handover and project closure
- Identifying, arranging, controlling and monitoring works at site
- Coordinating with the multi-discipline team during Project Execution phase
- Conducting periodic project Risk assessment meetings with HSE team of TE, PMC & Contractor and draw up mitigating measures
- Ensuring project objectives are monitored and adhered to
- Organizing formal closure and handover of the projects and REX report
- Shall closely interact with TE Project head from the commencement of Basic & FEED Engineering phase and shall take full charge of the project during Site execution phase until handover.
Safety, Sustainability & Compliance
- Lead safety initiatives, managing compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, including TE standards, PNGRB, PESO, and OISD.
- Manage sustainability programs to minimize environmental impact and support corporate responsibility goals.
- Control compliance monitoring and conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to laws and internal policies.
Financial & Performance Management
- Lead the budgeting and resource allocation process to maximize operational efficiency and return on investment for new projects.
- Control and manage engineering and maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising safety or reliability.
- Control financial performance by implementing measures to optimize OPEX and CAPEX and enhance profitability.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance professionals.
- Lead the process of knowledge transfer to the team by Providing coaching, mentoring, training, and supporting career development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with TEMIPL employees, Project PMC and Contractors.
Desired Profile: -
- 5+ years of experience in construction projects & Engineering, Project Management, Project Risk studies and Change management process.
- Bachelor's or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Good Communication Skills
