Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with 5+ years in the water and wastewater treatment industry. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects such as WTP, STP, and ETP systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and manage water and wastewater treatment projects from design to commissioning Review technical designs, P&IDs, and drawings for treatment systems Coordinate with design teams, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution Supervise installation and commissioning of equipment such as pumps, blowers, filters, membranes, and pipelines Ensure compliance with environmental standards set by Central Pollution Control Board and local authorities Monitor water quality parameters like pH, BOD, COD, TSS, and turbidity Prepare project schedules, BOQs, and cost estimates; track project budgets Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies during project execution Maintain project documentation, reports, and technical records Provide technical support during operation and maintenance phases Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical / Environmental Engineering 5+ years of experience in water or wastewater treatment projects (WTP/STP/ETP)
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes Familiarity with standards from Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings Experience with pumps, hydraulics, and piping systems Good project management and communication skills Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel

Experience in EPC projects Knowledge of SCADA/PLC systems Exposure to desalination or advanced treatment technologies
