Project Engineer

What this job involves: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our Project and Development Services (PDS) team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and delivering complex construction and development projects for our clients across various sectors.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, contractors, and clients
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans and regulations
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, change orders, and correspondence
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
• Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in construction project management or related role
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and industry standards
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Professional certification (e.g., PMP, LEED AP) is a plus
