Job Description:
Study the requirements and complete the projects within specified time with right quality following the design procedures, work instructions and standards
Execute 3D modelling, 2D drawings, and design modifications using CREO tool
Apply GD&T, material selection, and tolerance stack-up principles
Participate in design validation tasks (basic calculations, simulations, BOM preparation)
Be responsible for large or complex Field Issues, Production Issues etc.,
Work on NPD projects as per the needs & take overall responsibility for the product sustenance after proto build
Responsible value addition, improvement activity of existing product by reviewing technical feasibility
PreparationQuality checking of 2D drawings & 3d Models & Perform internal reviews
Design of aggregates, integration of aggregates and design review & take up the analysis with senior colleagues for implementation
Perform and check design calculations as required
Work on PDM/PLM systems associated with engineering release processes & systems
Maintain Project documents as per ISO procedures
Follow the internal project management and time management requirements
Support the team in upgrading all the internal processes on continuous basis
Exhibits the company core values, integrity and open global culture.
Ensure execution of tasks in strict compliance with operating procedures and delivery of defect free output
Maintain effective and timely communication with customers and stakeholders as and when required
Adhere to existing internal processes and initiate value-added processes and procedures
Reporting to the ManagerProject Leader in a timely and efficient manner
Complying to company policies and following company values and business code of practice
Experience Requirements:
4 to 8 years in heavy engineering for experience in mechanical Design & Drafting.
Expert level Proficiency in Creo (3D + 2D)
Knowledge on Team Centre is an added advantage.

ME / MTech / BE / BTech Mechanical /Automobile/Production

Knowledge Requirement:
Strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, drawing skills and GD&T
Good Knowledge with CAD and PLM systems
Exposure to design release process and change management
Willingness to learn project management basics (e.g., task tracking, delivery discipline)
Team player attitude and good interpersonal skills
Knowledge on design standards & Welding
LHD application knowledge with focus on components and subsystem functions added advantage
Personality requirements:
Enthusiastic, positive minded and able to work well in an international client environment.
Team player - open-minded for constructive feedback and highly flexible
Good interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Self-starter & result oriented.
